The Department of State and the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations announced the New U.S. Embassy Compound in Seoul, Korea. The multi-building complex will be situated on the Old Camp Coiner site in the northern Yongsan Garrison. Seoul Metropolitan Government announced the Urban Management Plan (U.S. Embassy District Unit Plan) in November 2021 and OBO awarded the Site Service for the New Embassy Compound including Embassy Annex and Housing.

In collaboration with Cherokee Federal and RA Federal in the USA, UA26 provides the PM service for the NEC project in accordance with the relocation of Yongsan Garrison and the Yongsan National Park Development Plan since 2020. Due to the complexity and sensibility of the project, it is required to engage with experts in strategic planning for overall program management from the beginning of the development stage.

To establish a feasible management plan for this important project, UA26 emphasizes strength in relations with various public and private entities and experience in coordination with global partners. Last November, our team initiated the site survey and has prepared the scope of work with milestones in accordance with the laws and regulations of the U.S. and the R.O.K. Currently, our team is finalizing the implementation plan in order to engage with the local authorities for permits and approvals for the groundbreaking in the near future.
